Chiang Mai’s newest championship golf course is only 15 minutes south of Chiang Mai, and is the lasted addition to the Gassan Construction Companies'  list of courses. This 18-hole, 6,400 yard, par-72 beauty has expansive water hazards on every hole. Many of the par-4’s can be driven yet danger lurks. The short approach shots to the greens demand precision and proper placement. The Lake City rewards risk takers, but accuracy is a must. High handicappers beware!  A third golf course – Gassan’s Marina – is already under construction and scheduled to be open in late 2006... watch this space
